Morgan was admitted to practice in 2000, commencing work with a national law firm, then taking on the role of Associate at one of Western Australia’s leading midsized law firms.  Morgan moved through the ranks quickly, moving to Senior Associate with the firm and ultimately the role of Director there in 2007.  In 2015 Morgan went on to establish Solomon Hollett Lawyers with fellow Director Craig Hollett, the two having worked closely at the same firm for over seven years.

Morgan has a wealth of experience across a large and varied range of commercial and corporate legal matters, commercial litigation, contract drafting, negotiation and dispute resolution, corporate governance, sale and purchase of businesses, drafting of wills  and estates, Inheritance Act disputes and estate litigation, trust law, intellectual property and copyright law, insurance law, conveyancing and real property law, commercial and residential leasing and lease disputes, mortgages, commercial lending law and trade practices law.

As one of the state’s leading legal practitioners in his fields of business, commercial and estates, Morgan regularly speaks to industry and media about complex issues within the law, legal trends and the impact on Australians and Australian business.  Recently, Morgan has also held the positions of both Vice Chair and then Chairman of the prestigious Law Australasia group of leading independent law firms across Australia, and is regularly commissioned by industry to write practical guides on probate and wills.

A third generation West Australian lawyer, Morgan also takes an active role in the State’s cultural community having studied fine arts for four years before his studies in law.  Morgan is Chairman of the Board of the Perth Theatre Trust, a position appointed by Minister John Day MLA, Minster for Culture and the Arts.  Morgan is also a Member of the WA Chamber of Culture and the Arts and also sits on the Board of the Prostate Cancer Council.
